We provide facility and preventative maintenance services to aviation, government, and commercial facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add a maintenance technician to our dynamic team at Boston Logan International Airport. Shift: 1:30pm – 10:00pm Monday - Friday Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k Responsibilities Repair various deficiencies on ground support equipment Assemble tow bars, luggage carriers, containers, and other equipment as needed Paint, stock supplies, and maintain a clean and safe workplace- free from debris and hazardous materials Perform general handyman and maintenance tasks as assigned Assist with basic mechanical and repair work under supervision Complete light housekeeping duties Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements Follow directions accurately and work both independently and as part of a team Requirements Must be able to operate various power and hand tools safely Mechanically inclined with basic repair or maintenance knowledge Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, unassisted Comfortable with bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling various items
Responsibilities
The maintenance technician will perform repairs on ground support equipment and assemble various airport-related hardware. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean, safe workspace and performing general handyman tasks as assigned.
