Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical, and general upkeep).
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
  • Maintain safety, fire, and emergency systems (e.g., testing alarms, ensuring compliance with safety codes).
  • Ensure outdoor areas (walkways, entrances, parking lots) are safe and well maintained, including seasonal snow and ice removal.
  • Work collaboratively with facility management and nursing staff to ensure resident safety and comfort.
  • Keep detailed maintenance logs, service records, and report major issues to supervisors.Support contractors/vendors on site when larger projects or repairs are required.
