Maintenance Technician (Make Ready Tech) This is an entry level maintenance position, where you will learn the fundamentals of all aspects of the Maintenance Technician role. Our training program consists of a focus on the turnover process and learning repair/replacement procedures within our vacant units. The primary focus of this position will be preparing vacant units for upcoming residents. Pay rate: $21.00/hr Schedule: Sunday - Thursday Full-Time Position Job description: Under the supervision Property Manager/On-site Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely maintaining the physical condition and fulfilling customer service needs of the property. Main duties include: Painting (interior unit paints) Grounds and litter patrol Pool and spa maintenance Electrical Plumbing Hazard inspections Communication with onsite team Occasional moving of heavy objects such as appliances, toilets, deliveries, etc. Amenity inspections and maintenance Unit and building preventative maintenance inspections Adherence to Company’s Accident Prevention program Ongoing trainings using the Company’s learning management system Overtime as needed Work orders Emergency On-call coverage Strong painting skills are an advantage for consideration. Prior experience in property management maintenance is preferred, but not required. Paid overtime is occasionally required. Must be willing to carry after-hours emergency pager (on rotating schedule, currently every 3rd week for 1 week). CAMT, CPO Certification, EPA 608, Fair Housing training a plus.
