Come join us in Jacksonville!** Job Summary A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across community common areas, facilities, and amenities. This role requires a dependable and self-motivated individual who can troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service to residents and property staff. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and general repairs on property facilities, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders to ensure timely and effective resolution. Assist in maintaining community amenities such as pools, fitness centers, and recreational areas, ensuring all are clean, safe, and operational. Monitor and report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or property damage. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or maintenance work. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory of tools, materials, and supplies. Support the community management team in special projects or property improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and property regulations. Requirements Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or a related field required. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs independently. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Pool maintenance experience and/or CPO certification preferred but not required. Work Schedule & Compensation Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends, holidays or after-hours emergencies as needed. Competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus benefits package.
