Description Memorial Community Health, Inc. in Aurora, NE is seeking a full time Medical Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist for Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, excels at multi-tasking and is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service. We offer excellent benefits, competitive starting wages and paid vacation. This position requires on-call once per week and every sixth weekend. Job Responsibilities Monitors, inspects, and ensures the safe and efficient function and operation of all buildings, equipment, systems and grounds, in a proactive manner. Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures including pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments. Performs ground maintenance in a timely and efficient manner. Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in setting maintenance practices and completing maintenance projects. Maintains all utilities such as electricity, natural gas, heating, cooling, water, plumbing, medical gases, and communicates any issues appropriately. Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of residents’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained. Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, Critical Access Hospital requirements, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Prior maintenance experience preferred Valid Nebraska Driver’s License Knowledge of construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanics Must be available to take call and respond within 30 minutes
