MetCap Living Management Inc. is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician/Handyman for residential high-rise in Barrie, ON. Duties: Troubleshoot general common area repairs. Repair and replace general hardware. Handling basic repairs and maintenance in residential apartments and common area Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor fixes like broken locks, faucet replacements, light fixture replacement, wall preparation, plaster, paint and unplugging toilets and sinks. Ability to request and supervise contractors. Skills, knowledge, and abilities required: Highly observant and responsive. Ability to solve problems. Good time management. Knowledge of electrical work. Knowledge of plumbing work. Good knowledge of carpentry work, repairing cabinetry, drawers, doors, and wood floor repairs Positive attitude to work. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to follow instructions. We require criminal record check upon offer of contract. Must have own basic tools.
