Located in the Fraser Valley, Miracle Springs Inc. (MSI) is BC’s largest land-based Rainbow Trout and Arctic Charr producer. MSI is looking for a full time, permanent Farm Maintenance Technician (General Farm Labour) to join our team.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in landscaping, construction, site maintenance, working outdoors or other farm work.

REQUIREMENTS

· Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permenant Resident or in possession of a valid work permit and legally eligible to work in Canada;
· Ability to lift 50 lbs/22 kg

Farm Maintenance Technician will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Operate farm machinery, such as a ride on lawn mower, weed eater and brush cutter, in a safe manner;
· Perform yard maintenance, including mowing the lawn, weed and brush removal;
· Perform rodent control;
· Snow removal;
· Salting of walkways during low temperature events;
· Power (pressure) wash pipes, tanks, filters and other farm buildings and equipment;
· Collect and empty trash;
· Load and operate the farm composter;
· Assist with site organisation, moving equipment and equipment storage;
· Assist with farm construction and installation projects;
· Assist with farm chores;
· Assist with animal husbandry chores, when required.
