Description

Organize and plan work/project activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet short & long term objectives. Monitor, collect and interpret a range of raw data from various sources, evaluate/analyze results and create reports to assist decision-making process in various aspects of work. Observe the state of the asset and determine its status based on indicators, and real-time condition data to prioritize and optimize maintenance resources in order to minimize cost and asset downtime while maintaining asset efficiency. Knowledge in the variety of machinery, spare parts, tools, and other items used in NAPCO’s maintenance practices. Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials, work in progress and finished products, using simple to complex lab equipment, against performance and standard limits and according to engineering/procedural standards in order to uncover and address deviations. Identify, isolate, and totally rectify a fault so that the failed asset can be restored to an operational condition in which it can perform its intended function at NAPCO and if necessary apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensure long term solution is also applied.

Responsibilities

The technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery and related equipment to minimize downtime. This includes monitoring asset condition, performing fault rectification, and applying Root Cause Analysis for long-term solutions.
