Description

Diploma-qualified Electrical Technician with a minimum of one year of practical experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. * Observe the state of the asset and determine its status based on indicators, and real-time condition data to prioritize and optimize maintenance resources in order to minimize cost and asset downtime while maintaining asset efficiency. * dentify, isolate, and totally rectify a fault so that the failed asset can be restored to an operational condition in which it can perform its intended function at NAPCO and if necessary apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensure long term solution is also applied. * Report recurring issues and suggest corrective actions. * Track spare parts usage. * Recommend improvements to reduce downtime.

Responsibilities

The technician is responsible for installing, testing, and repairing electrical systems and production machinery to minimize downtime. They must also monitor asset conditions, perform root cause analysis on faults, and manage spare parts usage.
