Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified) Department: Operations Reports to Property Manager We're looking for a hands-on HVAC-certified Maintenance Technician to lead and inspire service professionals. You'll be the heart of building operations and the go-to expert for preventive maintenance, repairs and keeping our communities running smoothly and safely. Your leadership skills will shine as you guide and support other staff, help set priorities and make sure projects stay on track. Daily Responsibilities Include: Troubleshooting and repairing building systems and mechanical components Participate in on-call for after-hours emergencies. Leading and training maintenance personnel; helping prioritize and schedule work Ensuring equipment safety and readiness through inspections and hands-on fixes Maintaining organized records and reports of operations and project progress Managing supplies and tools, and ensuring work areas are clean and safe Assisting skilled trades personnel with construction, renovation, and complex repairs Requirements What You’ll Bring HVAC Certification (required) At least 1 year of maintenance experience Solid knowledge of building systems, safety protocols, and tool usage Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs., work at heights, and handle challenging environments Clear communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead by example Additional Qualifications: Experience operating trade-specific tools and multi-control machinery Ability to read and follow technical instructions and service manuals Attention to safety, quality standards, and detail Work Environment & Physical Demands: Work includes navigating confined spaces, working at heights, and performing tasks in varying weather conditions Interaction with fixed machinery and potentially hazardous materials Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required Equal Opportunity Employer At Nolan Living, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
