MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Location: Salt Lake City International Airport, Salt Lake City, UT, 84122 JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team at Salt Lake City International Airport. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing maintenance tasks correctly and efficiently without supervision. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify and handle issues before they escalate, ensuring smooth operations throughout the facility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform routine and preventive maintenance on airport facilities and equipment. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues independently. * Proactively identify potential problems and address them promptly to avoid downtime. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management. * Manage time effectively and stay busy throughout the workday. * Work on feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours straight) as required by the job. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS * Ability to work independently without supervision and complete tasks correctly the first time. * Proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues. * Hardworking, dependable, and honest with timekeeping. * Highly organized with strong attention to detail. * Comfortable standing and working on feet for long periods. * Possession of own set of tools required to perform maintenance tasks. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is based at Salt Lake City International Airport and involves working in a dynamic environment where safety and efficiency are paramount. The Maintenance Technician will be expected to adapt to varying conditions and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
