Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring a Maintenance Technician to our team! This position will provide general repair services, and some custodial and janitorial services to the Clinic. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Inspects the exterior of the buildings for any maintenance problems. Facilitates general electrical, carpentry, drywall, heating and cooling repairs. Knowledge of power, water and gas turnoff valves, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants on each of the clinic owned properties. Follows snow removal procedures. Performs preventive maintenance on all clinic owned equipment. Creates and maintains a safe work environment. Provides general custodial and janitorial tasks as assigned. Drives GSA-issued vehicles as needed. The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is a non-profit organization and not federal employment. Indian preference hiring laws apply. Must align with OKCIC vision, mission and core values. At least one year of previous facilities maintenance experience. At least 6 months in a medical/clinical/hospital setting. Valid, current Oklahoma driver’s license. Acceptable driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years). Must be able to lift 70 lbs Must be able to push/pull on a cart 240 LBS on an equipment cart or dolly. Must be able to climb five flights of stairs Must be able to climb ladders.
