Description

Perform periodical maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly, periodically), calibration, alignment, and health checks on conveyors, DWS, WCS, and X-ray machines; not limited to. Act as the first responder for equipment breakdowns, carrying out quick rectification (“First Aid”) to minimize downtime. Support and supervise vendor maintenance visits, ensuring proper repairs and follow-ups; end to end. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems, LV panels, sensors, and automation equipment; measuring against TAT (Turnaround Time) for completion. Troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical issues in hub machinery and facility systems. Maintain facility infrastructure including lighting, HVAC, firefighting, CCTV, access systems, and plumbing, cleanliness, 5S Drive safe machine usage and adherence to operational guidelines through user and awareness trainings. Maintain accurate calibration logs, checklists, and compliance documentation. Understand the related machines and its technical know-what through learning the standards from KUL-eHub maintenance. Ensure clarity and high self responsibility to carry out the daily, weekly, monthly task list of maintenance comewith documentation and measurements. Establish and obtain/procure the basic tools to carry out his/her daily task. Self independent/responsible to carry out daily maintenance tasks. Capability to user-train, create continuity in awareness to user on machine and facility handling with care. Communicate in English while being savvy in local language to integrate with intent with ground operations).

Responsibilities

The technician will perform scheduled maintenance, calibration, and health checks on various equipment like conveyors and X-ray machines, acting as the first responder for breakdowns to minimize downtime. They are also responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems while maintaining facility infrastructure.
