Description MAINTENANCE JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Technician for several boutique Orangetheory Fitness studios in metro Detroit, MI. All applicants must have experience in maintaining commercial properties. Must be willing to be flexible with scheduling and willing to commute to multiple studio locations. This position will be 30-35 hours/week. EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS: Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits offered PTO & Holiday Pay 401k with matching Complimentary Membership Monthly Auto Stipend Potential equipment training offered MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine cause of problem or malfunction and take corrective action Respond to work orders via Service Channel Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician- examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures Perform various maintenance tasks, including potential equipment repairs, as needed Perform preventive maintenance tasks and repairs when required Availability on evenings and weekends for emergency needs Assist with studio deep cleans, which includes cleaning of gym equipment, general housekeeping, and trash disposal Other duties as assigned- this position will report the Facilities Manager REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years hands-on maintenance experience in a commercial setting, fitness studio is a plus Knowledge of general carpentry and repair; ability to use hand tools and power tools Excellent troubleshooting ability Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills Must have a valid driver’s license Flexibility - willing to commute to multiple studio locations Reliable transportation Familiar with Microsoft Office products Experience working on fitness equipment is a PLUS! ***Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US.
