Description OAHS is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team in supporting Ortonville Area Health Services and Fairway View Senior Communities. Maintenance cares for physical plant and grounds, construction, remodeling, preventative maintenance, and overall maintenance as needed. This individual should be able to take initiative, have a great attention for detail, and be able to work independently as well as in a team atmosphere. Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Perform general maintenance duties to keep facility equipment, systems, buildings, and grounds in safe and proper working condition · Complete preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs in a timely manner · Maintain outdoor areas, including snow and ice removal, debris cleanup, and ensuring entrances/exits are clear and safe · Keep accurate records of work performed, time spent, and supplies or equipment used · Respond to work orders promptly, courteously, and professionally · Maintains confidentiality of information concerning patients/residents, staff or public Follow OAHS policies, safety requirements, confidentiality standards, and department procedures Benefits and Pay: · Full Time, 40 hours per week · Typical hours are Monday-Friday, with on call rotation · Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA account with employer match · Generous PTO bank · PERA retirement plan with employer match · Hourly Rate $19.55 – 35.42 Requirements: · Knowledge of electrical, air conditioning, and plumbing a plus · Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license to operate equipment required for position · Willingness to obtain a 2nd class C boilers license to operate low-pressure boilers if not currently held
