Description American Plastics, LLC, a leading designer, and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household, garage storage and commercial cleaning, is seeking a positive, outgoing, and energetic Maintenance Technician Intern to join our team reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This is for Summer 2026; 8 -week paid internship working Monday-Friday dayshift hours. Requirements This internship/co-op is designed to give Maintenance Technicians that don’t have experience the opportunity to develop and learn more in the field of Maintenance. • Participate in corrective, preventive, and improvement work orders • Learn and participate in routine equipment/facility repairs • Learn and use root cause analysis when troubleshooting any process problems • Performs preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) prior to Preventive Maintenance (PM) • Gathers information for performance improvements during PM activities

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician Intern will participate in corrective, preventive, and improvement work orders while learning about routine equipment and facility repairs. The intern will also perform preventive maintenance inspections and gather information for performance improvements.
