BASIC FUNCTION: The Hotel Maintenance Technician I will assist guests with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problem. Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventive maintenance on property equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform general maintenance duties on properties. Responsibilities include standard guest room maintenance. Painting, filter changing of HVAC systems and pool equipment. Pool chemical monitoring and pool maintenance. Tennis court maintenance. Clearing condensation and plumbing fixture drain lines. Snow removal. Completing daily infrastructure check out sheets and identifying issues to report back to the department for correction Assist lead techs with property upgrades and repairs. Must be able to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.. Physical duties require a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically powered tools and test equipment. Climbing stairs, operating snow removal equipment and machinery are frequent tasks. Focus on customer needs and customer satisfaction. Projects a positive customer service environment to both internal and external customers. Promotes and encourages an attitude of exemplary customer service and high integrity to all the staff within Facilities Management. Contributes to the overall success of the Facilities Maintenance Department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager. No on call hours. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred. Valid Driver's license is required. OTHER: This is a 2nd shift position. A mixed schedule will be required with flexibility of the team to cover all shifts. Weekend and holiday work is required.
