Description The Maintenance Technician will communicate with other employees throughout the plant. Will posses a broad knowledge of tools and their safe, proper use such as: welder, torch, saws and other cutting tools, hand tools. Familiar with electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Also will use the computer as it relates to the job, possession of adequate supply tools to do the job. Requirements Maintain safe and clean work area to avoid personal injury and/or property damage. Use proper safety equipment and procedures including LO/TO. Ability to learn other jobs and fill in when needed. Ability to properly perform work orders including project and preventive maintenance. Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics Ability to perform breakdown maintenance to reduce equipment downtime. Experience with PLC's Must maintain a valid NC driver license. Must maintain a forklift license. Ability to understand basic function of equipment throughout the plant. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to twist, stoop, and bend regularly. Hardhat, safety glasses and steel toe shoes etc. required. Shift 2/2/3 Schedule, Rotating Weekends, 3rd Shift, 6:45pm - 7:00am
