Position: Maintenance Technician (Plastic Injection Molding) Location: South Bend, IN (On-Site) Schedule: Monday to Friday Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Position Summary: This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on all plastic injection molding machinery and equipment including robots, chillers, thermolators and hot running systems. Essential Functions: Repairing, troubleshooting, and inspecting all mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machines and robots according to specifications Regularly checking heater bands, rings and pulling screws / barrels Safely utilizing the proper equipment to access jobs to both remove and install parts Requirements Ideal Candidate Experience: Prior plastic injection molding maintenance experience (required) Ability to follow established procedures, read blueprints and maintain accurate records Understanding of auxiliary, electrical, and hydraulic equipment, robots and machines Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Physical Demands of position: Ability to work in loud manufacturing environment Occasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
