Description Job Summary: This is for a night shift position. You would be responsible for performing equipment and property maintenance, as well as mechanical and electrical repairs. This includes appropriate and accurate troubleshooting and research of all equipment in the Production departments as well as all support departments and their respective equipment. Technicians are also called on to address various office area equipment. Shift: Night Shift, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Sunday OR Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, every other Sunday Essential Job Functions: · Answer and or research any questions related to the mechanics of any piece of equipment in the manufacturing areas including Bindery, Pressroom, Shipping, Mailing etc. · Give daily attention especially to the Pressroom and Bindery equipment as directed by Pressroom and Bindery Manager or Supervision/Leadership. · When not on specific equipment breakdown or trouble call, carryout various preventive maintenance work and duties on Press or Bindery equipment. · Assist manufacturing leadership in the maintenance basics training of bindery and pressroom personnel so that those lead operators can assist or outright perform most of their own PM duties on the equipment. · Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, or ring gauges. · Always work in conjunction with lead operators and Dept. Leadership when ordering parts. · Works with all fellow co-workers in a respectful, cooperative manner. · Willing to contribute whether by phone or in person to any mechanical problem that may arise at any given time. · Self-driven, able to work independently or with others. · Performs other tasks as requested or required
