We’re seeking a dedicated professional to join our clients essential team. This isn’t just about fixing things; it’s about being a critical player in maintaining complex systems that produce vital chemical products, ensuring both operational excellence and stringent safety compliance.

  • This is a UNION facility.
  • Shifts are 12 hours.
  • Pay is Dependant on Skills & Experience : Starting Range $27/hr-$31.50/hr

Responsibilities

  • Electrical System Management: Perform electrical repairs on systems up to 3-phase 480V. This includes efficiently troubleshooting and replacing AC & DC motors. You’ll leverage your solid understanding of PLC control systems to diagnose issues and ensure seamless operation, always supported by your ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics.
  • Comprehensive Mechanical Maintenance: Execute both reactive and preventive maintenance on a diverse range of critical equipment. Your expertise will cover mechanical components such as gears, pulleys, sprockets, and bearings, as well as complex systems like conveyor systems, packaging equipment, seals, vacuums, blowers, and water recovery systems.
  • Welding & Fabrication Expertise: Possess the ability to perform high-quality MIG and Stick welding, with TIG welding skills being highly desirable. This allows for essential repairs and fabrication to maintain equipment integrity.
  • Fluid Power Systems Proficiency: Skilfully repair and operate hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring these vital components of industrial machinery function correctly and efficiently.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • wearing steel toe shoes
  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • standing for 6 hours at one time
