Maintenance Technician

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.
Responsibilities:
Looking to add to our Maintenance team, a solid Maintenance Technician to work on gear boxes, transfer cases with good welding skills. A mechanical aptitute is a must and expereince working on manufacturing equipment strongly preferred.

1ST SHIFT WORKS 7AM-3:30PM. ON CALL 1 OUT OF EVERY 5 WEEKENDS. STARTING PAY AROUND $25/HOUR WITH A 90 DAY BUMP BASED ON SKILLS CONFIRMATION.

To service and maintain all equipment, including but not limited to, powered industrial equipment, mobile equipment, furnace combustion systems, plumbing, rotary furnaces, and ventilation equipment in a manner that ensures quality production at a minimal cost in a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work overtime and be on-call as needed
• 3+ years work experience in a trade profession or industrial maintenance
• Willingness to learn new skills through ongoing training.

• Some welding knowledge/skills.
