Description Help Keep Our Facilities Safe, Functional, and Welcoming RCMS is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our healthcare facilities and residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning environments. As a key member of our Facilities team, you'll help ensure our buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards while supporting staff, patients, and visitors across our organization. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks Complete minor carpentry, painting, patching, and general facility upkeep Troubleshoot and resolve basic building and equipment issues Replace light bulbs, air filters, ceiling tiles, and similar components Assist with landscaping, mowing, and exterior property maintenance Help maintain a safe and compliant work environment Support office moves, furniture assembly, event setup, and special projects Coordinate access for vendors and contractors when needed Maintain organized workspaces, storage areas, and maintenance records Provide occasional backup support for environmental services staff What We're Looking For Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience Comfortable using hand and power tools safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Dependable team player with a positive attitude Healthcare facility experience is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements This role involves active, hands-on work including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
