Responsibilities:
Do you have experience operating small machinery – including power and hand tools? Are you experienced working with cleaning chemicals? If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Maintenance Technician at our affordable housing community.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have at least 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience with affordable housing experience preferred
• You’re able to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed and can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• You are committed to exceed expectations of those around you by providing exceptional service
• You bring determination each day – embracing constructive criticism and pushing to get better
• You believe in teamwork – that we are better, together
• You are trustworthy and reliable to do the right thing – no matter what

• Perform essential work to keep our properties in great shape
• Complete service requests in a timely manner, interact with residents, and keep your property’s systems in good working order
• Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests in a timely manner.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standard within established time frame.
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds; immediately address safety issues with management.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with supervisor.
• Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to prepare site for inspections.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs.
