JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role involves ensuring the optimal functioning of equipment and facilities, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems.
  • Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.
  • Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within the team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Conduct welding tasks as needed for equipment maintenance.
  • Apply electrical experience to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Execute residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with team members and clients.
  • Supervise junior staff or apprentices, providing guidance and leadership as necessary.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure minimal downtime during maintenance activities.
