Position: Maintenance Technician
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to£30,000 per annum

Place of Work: Rookwood School, Weyhill Road, Andover SP10 3AL and travel to other schools in the area
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and well-qualified Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team at Rookwood School and working across the schools with the Inspired Learning Group.
Nestled on a leafy site in Andover, Rookwood School is a happy and thriving learning environment for pupils aged 6 months to 18 years. At the heart of our ethos is strong pastoral care, where every individual is treated with respect and dignity.
The role of the Maintenance Technician will work under the supervision of the Area Maintenance Manager providing general site maintenance and assistance with projects across the school sites in the area. Working independently or as part of a team to help achieve the overall aims of the School.
In your role as Maintenance Technician, you will need to be able to work as part of team and independently. Our maintenance work is a mix of planned and unplanned work, and we sometimes have to change what we are doing at short notice, to respond to weather related issues for example, to make sure the School can continue to teach and support our children.

WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE BUILDING TRADE, AND CAN USE THESE SKILLS TO WORK ACROSS EVERY FACET OF ROOKWOOD SCHOOLS SITE.

The main roles and responsibilities for this role will include but not limited to;
· Carry out maintenance work, including but not limited to: Painting, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry and Turf Care.
· To establish effective working relationships and set a good example through your personal presentation and personal and professional conduct.
