Perform general maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and minor repairs. Assist in preventative maintenance across all hotel systems and areas. Maintain clean and safe workplaces. Respond promptly and professionally to guest and internal maintenance requests. Support and assist co-workers and leadership when needed. Provide accurate and friendly information about hotel amenities and services. Arrive at work on time, in a clean, pressed uniform with name tag. Maintain a positive and service-focused demeanor throughout the day. Represent MCHG positively when interacting with guests and the community. Must have flexibility to work days, nights and weekends. Specific Job Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk/stand a total of 8 hours per day. Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs. Must be able to carry 35–50 lbs. up to 200 ft. Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder level, kneel, grasp, push, and pull.
Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for routinely inspecting grounds and hotel equipment, performing general maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs, and assisting with preventative maintenance across all hotel systems. They must also respond promptly to guest and internal maintenance requests while maintaining a positive, service-focused demeanor.
