Job Description
SGS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team in Kalgoorlie. This role plays a key part in ensuring our equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably in a dynamic laboratory environment. This is not a FIFO position, the successful candidate is required to be based in Kalgoorlie.

Duties include, however not limited to:

  • Perform both breakdown and scheduled maintenance on manual equipment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with laboratory staff to implement long-term solutions.
  • Analyse plant and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Contribute to projects focused on enhancing process efficiency and the reliability of automated systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, adjusting as required.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • A qualified mechanical fitter with experience in production line/factory process control systems.
  • Have previous experience with control systems in an industrial environment.
  • Have strong computer skills and experience in MS Excel
