Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician – Special Projects Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping facilities safe, functional, and guest-ready? If you enjoy solving problems, working on a variety of tasks, and supporting major projects across a resort property, we want to meet you! We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician – Special Projects to support our resort’s Facilities and Maintenance operations. In this role, you’ll help maintain resort assets, respond to guest needs, and assist the Facilities Project Manager with repairs, inspections, and property-wide improvement projects. Location: Vacation Village at Parkway Address: 2975 Arabian Nights Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 34747 Pay Rate: $20.50/hr WHAT YOU’LL DO * Assist with maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of guest units, equipment, and common areas * Perform inspections and support preventative maintenance programs * Respond to guest maintenance requests with courtesy and urgency * Identify and report maintenance concerns and recommend solutions * Follow established maintenance procedures and safety guidelines * Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and other resort teams to support operations * Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas * Manage daily workload and prioritize tasks effectively * Attend required meetings, trainings, and special project briefings * Support special projects assigned by Maintenance leadership WHAT YOU BRING * 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred * Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Customer-focused mindset with general handyman/repair skills * High School Diploma or GED required * Carpentry or related technical experience a plus * Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and maintenance equipment WHY JOIN US * Be part of a supportive, team-focused environment * Competitive pay and opportunities for growth * Work in a beautiful resort setting where every day is different * Make a direct impact on guest satisfaction and property excellence * Join a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork

Responsibilities
