Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Classification: Hourly (Non-Exempt) Location: Rosemount, MN Working Schedule: Full-time Position Overview: As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at EGA Spectro Alloys, your work will directly impact the success of the team. When the equipment runs smoothly, production goals are met, and everyone shares in the success. Your skills will ensure our operations run like clockwork, helping to keep machinery up and running, while making a significant impact on team and company performance. Compensation and Benefits: The expected starting hourly wage for this position is $28.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and position responsibility. Troubleshooting mechanical systems with support from the team. Inspecting and testing machines to ensure they’re working at full capacity. Performing routine safety checks on equipment to ensure compliance and safety. Using basic hand tools to complete repairs and adjustments (tools provided!). Collaborating with Maintenance and Production teams to ensure smooth operation and resolve issues. Keeping your work area clean and adhering to safety procedures at all times. Education/Experience/Skills: Required: At least 1 year of mechanical experience or equivalent background (experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical skills is a big plus!). Ability to understand production systems and contribute to team goals. Positive, reliable attitude and a great team player. Willingness to work in varied temperatures (heat and cold). Excellent attendance and time management skills. A solid understanding of industrial machinery, with a passion for troubleshooting and maintenance. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam and drug test. Physical Requirements: Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in both heat and cold environments (we keep it real, but we’ve got you covered with safety gear) Must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral work instructions, operations, safety procedures, and hazardous labels.
