Superior Skilled Trades has a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for a Maintenance Technician with a growing manufacturing company in Madison Lake, MN. In this role, you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of equipment including CNC machines, lasers, press brakes, ovens, and automation systems. You’ll read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure reliable operation of all facility and production equipment. Direct Hire Opportunity: Maintenance Technician Location: Madison Lake, MN Salary: $28-35/hr (based on experience) What You’ll Do Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, lasers, press brakes, ovens, and automation systems. Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using technical schematics and drawings. Maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, compressed air, and plumbing. Perform preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service records. Collaborate with vendors, engineers, and electricians on new equipment installation and upgrades. Fabricate and modify parts as needed using shop tools (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.). Ensure compliance with all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications Trade school certification or degree in a mechanical/electrical field preferred. 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication setting. Experience working with 480V equipment and control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machine schematics. Familiarity with lasers, automation systems, IR and convection ovens, and powder coating equipment preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Excellent teamwork, communication, and flexibility with work schedule for repairs or overtime. Qualifications & Skills 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication setting. Experience working with 480V equipment and control systems.
