THE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED AS OUR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:

  • A clear working knowledge of differing equipment, machinery & systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic
  • The ability to identify & resolve maintenance issues
  • An understanding of safety regulations and ability to perform Dynamic RA
  • Be able to communicate clear & effectively with various team members
  • Effective time management
Responsibilities
  • Perform planned maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery & facilities in accordance to our maintenance schedules.
  • Be the 1st responder to equipment & machinery breakdowns forming a crucial part of the escalation policy
  • Carry out repair, replacement & refurbishment of various parts, components & systems
  • Support the installation, relocation & modification of equipment & machinery as required
  • Awareness of continuous improvement oppurtunities through maintenance activity & communicate potential improvements
  • Ensure accurate records of maintenance activity including DT Reports, Work Orders & Stores Inventory
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold 5s standards through all maintenance work areas
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruption
