Description
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter/ Boilermaker to support our concrete plants across the Sydney metro area. This role offers great variety, stable full-time work, and the opportunity to work across multiple sites. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs across our network of concrete plants throughout Sydney. This is a mobile role with a company work ute provided collaborating with different sites and teams day to day. Whilst duties and responsibilities are varied, the scope of the position will include but not be restricted to: Work safely and follow all health & safety procedures Conduct routine inspections on plant and equipment Service, maintain and repair fixed and mobile plant Communicate with plant teams to plan maintenance and repairs Complete works efficiently to minimise production downtime Assist with upgrades and improvement projects across metro sites Carry out scheduled maintenance and minor fabrication where required Support training of plant batchers in basic preventative maintenance Accurately record maintenance activities in our systems This role is a great fit for you if you have: Trade qualification: Maintenance Fitter or Boilermaker (or equivalent) Plant maintenance experience (concrete industry experience desirable) Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability Practical, improvement-focused approach Current Australian driver’s licence & White Card What’s on offer: Competitive base hourly rate and paid overtime Full-time work with company ute and tools of trade Company uniforms & PPE provided Learning and development opportunities for career growth and progression Work within a safety focused and experienced team About Heidelberg Materials With more than 4,000 employees across 300 sites, we have an extensive production and logistics network across Australia.
