Talento Search Group has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in Marion, Indiana. This is a full time, direct hire position. The pay rate is from $27-$30 per hour, depending on your level of experience. The shift is a 12 hour evening shift with a 2/2/3 schedule - work only half the days of the year!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The maintenance technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and making repairs to all mechanical and electrical within the manufacturing facility.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

• Strong skill-sets in industrial mechanical and electrical repairs
• Prefer at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledgeable of hydraulics and electrical AC/DC drives
• Experience with PLC’s and automation (strongly preferred)
• HS diploma required - Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Controls preferred

• Troubleshoot and repair issues with manufacturing mechanical and electrical equipment to maintain production requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Recommend equipment and process improvements
• Repair hydraulic presses and other machinery
• Troubleshoot issues with PLC’s
• Assist with the equipment installation and start up
• Complete work orders in a timely fashion
