About the Role A Talos Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that equipment and machinery operate smoothly in which ensures that product is delivered on time upheld to a quality standard. In this role, you will....... Maintenance I To qualify as a Maintenance I, the team member must be able to perform general maintenance duties that include, but not limited to the following: · General automotive repair (brake jobs, oil change, troubleshooting) · General building and office repairs (clogged drains, doors, locks and sheetrock repair, etc.) · General understanding of electrical installation, repair and troubleshooting. · General fabrication equipment repair (brake press, shear, bandsaws, etc.) · Additional items as defined by manager Maintenance II To qualify as a Maintenance II, a team member must have all the qualifications of a Maintenance I. A Maintenance II must be proficient in: · Working independently on projects, without the direction of others, while producing quality work. · Reading electrical schematics and data plates · Lay out and execution of electrical expansion needs (including 3 phase) · Troubleshoot and repair all Talos equipment · Troubleshoot and repair forklifts, scissor lifts, etc. · Troubleshoot and repair HVAC issues · This individual will also be responsible for the training of entry level I Maintenance employees as needed. Maintenance III · To qualify as a Maintenance III, a team member must have all of the qualifications of a Maintenance II, and must be able to produce at a level that is higher than that of a Maintenance II. The team member must also be able to direct product and materials through the Maintenance department for maximum efficiency, and must have a full understanding of the manufacturing process at Talos regarding the following: · How products travel through the plant · Why they travel in the order that they do · How Maintenance affects the process throughout the plant Requirements We’re excited about you because you… Have a positive and friendly attitude. Have good communication skills. Able to work efficiently with cross-functioning teams. An Industrial Maintenance degree or certification is preferred. 3-5 Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience if preferred.
