We are seeking a Maintenance Technician (Temp-to-Hire) to support our Orange County and San Diego facilities. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with basic maintenance experience who takes pride in creating clean, functional, and well-maintained spaces. You’ll work closely with our Facilities Manager and operations teams to ensure our treatment environments remain safe, compliant, and welcoming. What You’ll Do Maintenance & Facility Support → Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting, minor plumbing repairs, and general upkeep Prepare mental health facilities for client use, ensuring spaces are safe, clean, and functional Assemble and place furniture; mount fixtures and equipment as needed Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify repair or replacement needs Lift, move, and transport materials and equipment safely and efficientl Safety, Compliance & Collaboration → Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety policies Report major repair needs or safety hazards promptly to the Facilities Manager Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and program teams to support smooth facility operations Perform additional duties as assigned to meet organizational needs Who You Are A reliable, hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship Comfortable performing physical tasks and working across multiple locations Safety-minded with strong attention to detail Respectful and professional in healthcare and residential environments Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn Why Alter Behavioral Health?
