We are currently looking for a Maintenance Tech for The Barclay at Sarasota Responsible for performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment to support a safe, clean, and compliant senior living environment. Reports To: Director of Facility Maintenance Essential Functions Perform assigned preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment. Assist with upkeep of mechanical rooms, drains, grease traps, garbage areas, cooling towers, and exterior grounds. Perform general repairs including painting, plastering, minor carpentry, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC-related tasks. Prepare apartments and common areas for resident move-ins and occupancy. Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests. Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency coverage as scheduled. Complete work orders Follow all safety, infection control, OSHA, and healthcare regulatory standards. Attend required staff meetings and in-service training. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to perform minor repairs to building systems and equipment. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Willingness to wear designated uniform and required PPE. Availability for emergency response and on-call rotation. Minimum one (1) year maintenance experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills.
