Description The Jasper, a luxury Class A community in Charleston, SC, is looking for a Commercial Maintenance Technician. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of our multifamily property. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings and grounds. Requirements Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work Complete the “Make Ready” process to prepare vacant units for new tenants Conduct regular and preventative maintenance of the property to identify and address any issues Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and professional manner Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes Maintain a clean and organized work environment Must be available to participate in a rotating on-call schedule Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance or related field CPO preferred, but not required Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for property maintenance, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
