What You’ll Do Respond promptly to maintenance service requests from residents Diagnose and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues Assist with apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and inspections Maintain tools, inventory, and workspaces in an organized and safe manner Support curb appeal and common area maintenance projects Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in compliance with Fair Housing Communicate with residents and the Property Manager about repairs and follow-up What You’ll Need to Succeed Required: Hands-on experience in apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance Knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry Strong customer service skills and a problem-solving mindset Availability to work Saturdays (closed Sundays) and participate in on-call rotation Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred: EPA or HVAC certification Experience with Entrata or other property management systems Bilingual abilities What You’ll Get CAF offers one of the most competitive benefits packages in the industry—because we believe when we take care of you, you can take care of everything else. Team members must be able to safely perform the following tasks: On your feet: 75% to 100% of the time Physical activities (75% to 100%): Bend/stoop/squat/kneel (e.g., repairs, installations, inspections) Climb stairs and ladders (e.g., accessing units, attics, rooftops) Push/pull, stand, and walk (e.g., moving equipment, appliances, tools) Reach above shoulders (e.g., HVAC units, lighting, shelving) Grasp/grip/turn and use finger dexterity (e.g., hand tools, fasteners, locks) Lifting/Carrying: Over 50 lbs: Occasional need (10% to 25%) 10–25 lbs: Frequent need (25% to 75%) Under 10 lbs: Frequent need (75% to 100%)
