Responsibilities Perform non-technical corrective and preventive maintenance, such as but not limited to: changing fluorescent lamps and light bulbs, unplugging water closets, replacing filters, exit light inspection, replacing ceiling tile Assist Maintenance Technicians and Carpenters as needed. Groundskeeping work including snow removal and vacation replacement hours Participate in training to begin understanding the principles of operation, and developing a good working knowledge of all the environmental systems such as plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems and associated equipment. Qualifications Education: High school graduate, graduate of technical program desirable Licensure: Valid Iowa Driver’s License. Experience: One year similar experience preferred Skills/Abilities: Mechanical, electrical experience preferred
Responsibilities
Perform non-technical corrective and preventive maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and unplugging water closets. Assist Maintenance Technicians and participate in training to understand environmental systems.
