What We’re Looking For A skilled and dependable Plant Maintenance Technician to support preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities who enjoys problem-solving and keeping production running safely and efficiently. Hours: 1st Shift – 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Thursday (Fridays and occasional evenings/weekends as needed) What You’ll Do Equipment & Machinery Maintenance Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Test malfunctioning machinery to determine repair needs for both small and large repairs Adjust, calibrate, and align equipment to maintain optimal efficiency Reset and calibrate sensors, controls, and safety devices Perform 480V 3-phase testing and diagnostics Conduct functional tests to confirm equipment and safety systems operate correctly Electrical & Controls Troubleshoot A/C and D/C electrical circuits Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics Work with PLCs and adjust parameters as needed Facility Maintenance Perform basic HVAC and plumbing maintenance and repairs Assist with general building and facility upkeep Safety & Continuous Improvement Follow and enforce safety procedures and protocols Build and install safety guarding, protective devices, and structural protection Work with engineers, supervisors, and vendors to support equipment reliability and improvement projects General Responsibilities Maintain accurate maintenance records Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Support production teams as needed Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 2+ years of industrial or plant maintenance experience preferred Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, controls, and industrial wiring Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation Ability to adjust and calibrate equipment to optimal performance Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Physical Requirements Continuous standing, walking, bending, and reaching Must be able to kneel, stoop, crawl, and climb as needed Must be able to work in hot and cold manufacturing environments Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Nine (9) paid holidays Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Friendly, collaborative team environment Opportunities for training, growth, and advancement
