Description

Due to the ongoing growth of the business, we have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team based at Stapylton. Reporting directly to our Maintenance Manager, you will need to be a strong communicator, organized, be self driven & motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of overall equipment efficiency
  • Ensure daily and weekly completion of assigned maintenance tasks
  • Assist in the control of the Workshop Area and maintain a safe work area
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out to meet company safety requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
  • Have high urgency in breakdown situations to keep production running

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years well-rounded experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in servicing of machinery.
  • Be trade qualified.
  • Have experience in preventative maintenance, machine installation, and breakdowns.

Key skills & knowledge:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Self-Starter
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activities
  • Flexibility and willingness to support others
  • Experience in planning daily/weekly maintenance
