Must be capable of doing all work with little or no supervision. Assists the supervisor in making economic decisions on the repair of equipment. Maintains a neat and orderly work area.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform calibration testing of temperature probes and torque wrenches as needed. * Maintain and log calibration test results. * Maintain safe and clean work area. * Perform basic operator maintenance. (grease equipment, clean filters, change small fittings) * Safety check equipment at facility * Complete electronic training monthly * Participate in daily shift meetings * Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment as needed * Comply with all company policies and procedures * Identify safety hazards in the workplace * Any other duties assigned by manager Requirements: * High School Graduate or equivalent * Experience with heavy equipment (forklift, front loader, etc.) * Extensive hand/ power tool experience * Basic math, reading comprehension, and writing skills * Work long hours doing repetitive motions in any weather * Ability to work M-F 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM with mandatory overtime (OT after normal shift and weekends) * Work weekends as needed * Manages time effectively * Must be willing to help out in other departments as needed * Ability to work independently or as a team * Ability to read and write in English  * Dependable * Must pass background check and drug screening Preferred Requirements: * Prior Maintenance background * Safety (OSHA) experience * Experience with basic welding Physical Demands & Work Conditions * Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening * Able to stand for long periods of time with limited breaks * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds  * Work in extreme temperatures and elements for an extended period of time * Must be able to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and smell * Must be able to work in confined spaces * Must be able to work at elevated heights * May encounter fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; risk of radiation and vibration * Work near moving mechanical parts and in a loud environment * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
