WILLOWS LODGE – 70 BEDDED NURSING & RESIDENTIAL HOME

Warm, welcoming, and wonderfully in need of someone who knows their way around a toolbox.
We’re not just looking for a Maintenance Technician… we’re looking for our very own DIY Legend, part handyman, part problem-solver, part health & safety superhero.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Fixing the small things before they become big things (yes, that dripping tap is mocking us all)
• Tackling plumbing, electrical, and carpentry jobs with the confidence of a YouTube tutorial star – but with better results
• Keeping our gardens and outdoor spaces looking fabulous (green fingers optional, enthusiasm required)
• Responding to requests with a smile, even when it’s “the TV remote doesn’t work” (spoiler: the batteries are dead)
• Making sure our home stays safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and the occasional visiting pet therapy dog

You’ll Be a Hit If You:

• Have experience in maintenance (great!) or just a knack for fixing stuff and a can-do attitude (also great!)
• Can juggle tasks like a pro and know how to prioritise (leaky roof before squeaky door, obviously)
• Understand health & safety regs without needing to recite them in your sleep
• Are friendly, approachable, and don’t mind being asked, “Can you just…” twenty times a day
• Take pride in keeping things running smoothly and looking their best

• Maintenance: 3 years (required)
