Next Chapter Homes Maintenance is a trusted building and property services company working across Sydney and Melbourne. We provide repairs, renovations, and modifications for government housing, NDIS participants, aged care, and private clients.
The Role
We are looking for reliable and skilled Maintenance Technicians / Handymen to join our growing team. You will complete day-to-day maintenance and repair jobs, ensuring a high standard of safety and quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out general property maintenance and repairs (walls, ceilings, doors, windows, fencing, tiling, plastering, painting, etc.)
  • Complete patch and paint jobs, mould treatment, and small-scale renovations
  • Install and repair bathroom, kitchen, and laundry fixtures
  • Work on NDIS and housing modifications (ramps, rails, accessible bathrooms)
  • Provide before-and-after photos for all jobs
  • Follow safety and compliance requirements on every site
  • Communicate clearly with tenants, clients, and office staff

Requirements

  • ABN (subcontractors welcome)
  • White Card (construction safety card)
  • Public Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Relevant trade skills (carpentry, plastering, tiling, painting, or general maintenance
  • Own tools, vehicle, and PPE
  • Reliable, honest, and able to work independently
