WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• We are looking for an experienced professional or someone with similar qualifications
• Diploma MBO level 4 or MBO level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
• Experience in performing maintenance in the oil/gas/petrochemical industry is an advantage
• You focus on quality and always strive for high quality standards
• Be able to read technical drawings and work packages and translate them into action
• We are looking for individuals with sense of responsibility and team spirit who think in solution-oriented way
• Administration and work are done digitally, affinity with digitization is an advantage

WHAT’S THE ROLE

As Mechanical/Rotating Maintenance Technicians, you are responsible for carrying out maintenance work at our factories in the day shift in safe and environmentally conscious manner. Your work consists of analyzing, localizing, resolving malfunctions of mechanical and rotary equipment. In addition, you will also do preventive maintenance.
In addition to working on maintenance tasks, you will also be involved in the supervision of small projects and shutdowns. You are administratively responsible for, among other things, maintaining and handling malfunction reports. You make suggestions for improvement and keep the drawing package up to date. Of course, you will be trained in this position by experienced and professional colleagues.
Purpose of the position
As Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the team that plans and executes all maintenance activities within designated area. Your primary responsibility will be the safe execution of mechanical/rotating work.
In collaboration with operations, you will form the O&M team, ensuring optimal availability and efficient operations.

Multiskilling across Operations, Electrical, Instrumentation, Rotating and Mechanical disciplines is key strategy and therefore, staff are encouraged to develop their skills.
As Maintenance Technicians, you will play a crucial role in achieving the asset’s goals in terms of safety, availability and Unit Operating Cost (UoC).

WHAT WILL YOU DO

For these dynamic locations, we are looking for experienced (Senior) Maintenance Technicians. Your tasks/responsibilities are:

• Performing complex and simple inspections, repairs and general maintenance of equipment in the factories with minimal supervision. You will also be involved in the commissioning of new equipment
• Ensure that all work carried out meets quality standards and specifications
• Ensuring neat and orderly work area by complying with all safety regulations
• Provide feedback for the continuous improvement of the maintenance execution process. This includes feedback on the scope of the maintenance task, frequency, content and quality of the work package, tools and equipment
• Continue to develop yourself in multi-disciplinary way
• The work is carried out based on work orders, procedures, standards, safety regulations, equipment documentation, quality procedures and strict guidelines and procedures as prescribed by law
• You work closely with the work preparation to prepare the work assignments in order to achieve good execution of work
• The nature of the assignment, may be in the field of (preventive) maintenance, repairs, (specialist) disassembly and assembly work, malfunctions, construction and commissioning
• You regularly work on the basis of limited technical information. No equipment, documentation available but collecting information yourself in writing or orally
