Your seat at the table: Maintenance/Tool Room Supervisor You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to: Lead, Manage, and Drive Accountability Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees in the Tool Room. Train Apprentices per the program defined by the state. Coordinate work performed by the tool makers. Tooling Maintenance Work from product models to develop the necessary tooling for the shop floor processes Participates in Manufacturability analysis of the design supplied by others. Manufacturing Engineering Provide recommendations for improvements to the manufacturing processes in the facility Develop methods and procedures for testing products and processes. Works with other support departments to implement project work. New Tooling Processing Analyze and identify changes to the manufacturing process to increase the efficiency of the process Analyze and identify changes to the set-up process to reduce the amount of downtime related to transitioning the equipment. Analyze and identify changes to the cost structure of each product in order to identify cost reductions Project Management We need this seat to have: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in tool making and design Ability to read blueprints 10 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment 3-5 yeas of experience in project management and tool design 3-5 years of experience with Solidworks, 3D CAD and Mastercam 3-5 years experience with the set-up and programming of CNC lathes and mills 1-3 years experience AutoCad Journeyman’s (tool and die or machinist) card or equivalent work experience This seat reports to: Manufacturing Engineering Manager Our company believes leaders are critical to the success of each individual.
