We’re looking for a Maintenance Utilities Specialist to support our state-of-the-art dairy production facility. In this role, you’ll be a part of the team that ensures that our utilities and essential plant systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably helping us deliver high-quality dairy products every day. What You’ll Do Oversee, troubleshoot, and maintain boilers, compressors, & wastewater treatment equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize operational performance. Conduct equipment inspections, system testing, and ensure regulatory compliance across utilities. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support smooth daily operations. Respond quickly to utility-related issues and help drive continuous improvement initiatives. What We’re Looking For Experience in utilities maintenance within food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing (dairy a plus!). Strong knowledge of boilers, compressed air systems, and industrial utilities. Ability to follow SOPs, and work safely in a regulated environment. A proactive, detail-focused mindset with solid problem-solving skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., boiler operator) are highly valued. Qualifications Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred — or equivalent years of related work experience. Relevant certifications and licenses are highly valued. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and operations, with strong focus on separators, boilers, compressors, HVAC systems, and wastewater treatment. Knowledge: Thorough understanding of mechanical principles, separation processes, boiler operations, and wastewater treatment technologies. Familiarity with applicable regulations, safety requirements, and environmental standards. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to foster a positive work culture and encourage collaboration among staff. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Time Management: Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
