Looking for a Welder to perform welding function with some fabrication Alter Trading Corporation Company, privately held company with several scrap metal processing facilities throughout the Midwest and Southern region, is searching for a Maintenance Welder on day shift at its Green Bay, WI. As a Maintenance Welder that can stick weld you will keep our facility operating by performing work on conveyors, changing motor boxes, changing bearings, stick welding. Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Saturday possible based on operational needs. Summary: · The Welder operates welding equipment and assists with general maintenance needs. * Welds/repairs trailers, roll-off containers and lugger containers. * Repairs shredder, conveyors and other machinery as needed. * May include fabrication duties. * Assists the maintenance department with preventative maintenance and repairs as needed. * Operates hydraulic cranes and other equipment as needed. * Other responsibilities as assigned. Safety: Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard. Follows company safety standards at all times.
