OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to provide a safe and efficient environment for all.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Experience with operating equipment such as forklifts, skid-steers, and ride-on lawn mowers.
• Flexibility as this position consists of a wide variety of duties at multiple locations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency in all tasks performed.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Technological proficiency to use our maintenance software.
• Must possess a valid Class 5 license and can provide a clean 5-year driver’s abstract.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
· Conduct inspections on buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
· Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently.
· Maintain grounds, including cleaning walkways, snow removal, and minor landscaping tasks.
· Keep accurate records of maintenance work and inventory of supplies.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
· Procure and order parts following internal ordering procedures.
· Other duties as assigned.
